With music and laughter in common, it’s no wonder Mary Jane and Wendy have remained great friends for so many years. Wendy, a fiddler, piano player and dancer from Creignish, and Gaelic singer Mary Jane, who makes Glendale home, joined forces with Seph Peters and Cathy Porter to form the award-winning Mary Jane Lamond and Wendy MacIsaac Band. Tonight in Glendale they’ll share the stage with Scottish Gaelic singer Kathleen MacInnes, Irish harp player Laoise Kelly, the eight member Cape Breton dance group Fileanta, and Sarah MacInnis from West Mabou, one of the next generation of Cape Breton Gaelic singers. Mary Jane and Wendy will be in their element tonight celebrating song, tunes, dance, Gaelic, and good times together in Glendale. Hosted by Glendale and Area Community Cooperative
