What a gathering tonight in Whycocomagh! They come from Shetland, Ireland, Newfoundland, the US and right here. Fiddlers’ Bid came the farthest and they bring all the musical energy that Shetland is famous for in one fabulous fiddle band. Artist in Residence John Doyle is a close second coming from Ireland with his US buddy Bruce Molsky. The Dardanelles from Newfoundland will bring their traditions across the strait. Howie and Allan aren’t far from home, so they can extend the welcome. You’ll wish they could all stay forever.
